Scope and who we are

This Policy applies to personal data processed when you use the SlideBySlide.ai website, web application, APIs, and related features (the "Service"). It does not replace the privacy policies of third-party platforms you use alongside us (for example OpenAI ChatGPT or Google for sign-in); those providers process data under their own terms when you use their products.

Information we collect

We collect information in the following categories, depending on how you use the Service:

• Account and profile — name, email address, profile image URL, and identifiers we assign to your account (for example to link your presentations to you).
• Presentation content and metadata — slide text, layouts, design data, titles, descriptions, preview images, share links, visibility settings, and timestamps.
• Usage and technical data — interactions with the Service, approximate location derived from IP where available, browser or device type, and diagnostic logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
• Support and communications — messages you send us (for example email to support@pyxl.ai).
• Subscription and billing — if you purchase a paid plan, our payment processor receives and processes payment details; we typically receive limited billing metadata (for example subscription status, customer id) rather than full card numbers.

AI features and stock imagery

The Service includes AI-assisted presentation features. Your prompts and content may be processed to generate or update slides and related assets. We may also retrieve stock images from third-party providers (such as Pexels) based on prompts or settings you provide. Those providers may process requests in line with their own policies.

ChatGPT app integration (MCP)

If you connect SlideBySlide.ai inside ChatGPT through our Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector, you authenticate with OAuth. Your use of ChatGPT is also subject to OpenAI's terms and privacy policy. We process data needed to operate the integration, including:

• Account profile — display name, email address, and profile image URL shown in the in-chat widget.
• Presentation metadata and content — titles, internal identifiers and share links, preview images, descriptions, last modified times, and slide text and design data for presentations you create, list, or open through the connector.
• Technical delivery — loading design assets and images via our infrastructure and third-party services (for example storage and CDNs) consistent with the rest of this Policy.

The connector provides presentation features you request in ChatGPT. It does not post to social networks or other public channels on your behalf.

How we use information

We use personal data to: provide, secure, and improve the Service; authenticate users; store and render your presentations; process subscriptions and payments; provide customer support; send service-related notices; detect abuse and comply with law; and (where permitted) communicate about features or offers you can opt out of.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with service providers who process it on our instructions (for example hosting, database, email, analytics, payment processing, content delivery, and security). We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer (for example merger) subject to appropriate safeguards.

International transfers

We and our subprocessors may process data in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law (such as standard contractual clauses where relevant).

Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we encourage strong passwords and safe account practices.

Third-party services

The Service relies on vendors such as (non-exhaustive): Google (OAuth sign-in), Supabase (database and auth infrastructure), Cloudflare (CDN and security), Stripe (payments, where offered), and providers used for stock imagery (such as Pexels). Their processing is governed by their policies and our agreements with them.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business purposes (for example security, legal compliance, and dispute resolution). You may request deletion of your account and associated data subject to applicable law and technical constraints.

Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You can manage some information in your account settings. To exercise rights, contact us at support@pyxl.ai. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under the age where parental consent is required in their jurisdiction (often 13 or 16). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe we have done so.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and adjust the "Last updated" date below. Material changes may require additional notice where required by law.
